Eirjet grounded by financial problems
18 October 2006The charter airline company, Eirjet, has confirmed that it has suspended all flight operations because of financial difficulties and fears about its future.
The Shannon-based company had been operating charter services out of Dublin, Belfast, Cork, Shannon and Knock.
The company leased passenger aircraft to holiday tour operators such as JWT, Sunworld and Toplight.
