Emirates becomes first airline to allow passengers to use personal mobiles onboard
9 November 2006Dubai-based airline Emirates has become the first airline to allow its passengers to use personal mobiles onboard. Under the deal with telecom company AeroMobile, the airline will introduce the new facility from January 2007 with a Boeing 777.
