Wizz Air plans London share listing-report
27 April 2007Wizz Air, one of eastern Europe’s biggest budget airlines, plans to float on the London Stock Exchange, in a listing which could value it at up to 500 million pounds ($1 billion), the Daily Telegraph said on Wednesday.
A Wizz Air spokeswoman at the Budapest-based airline declined to comment on the report.
The float is planned before the end of the year and will include fundraising of up to 200 million pounds to finance the airline’s expansion, the newspaper said.
