Low-cost airline GermanWings to offer four weekly flights to Malta
16 September 2006Germanwings will start operations to Malta next March. The German airline will operate two weekly flights from Cologne and another two flights a week from Stuttgart, on Tuesday and on Saturday.
MIA said that through the new German link, Maltese travellers will have more options, at considerably low fares.
Besides the introduction of two new regions in Germany, passengers will also be able to purchase tickets to destinations such as Edinburgh, Gothenburg, Stockholm, Helsinki, Oslo and St Petersburg, all of which are served by Germanwings via their Cologne base.
